Hi, I have also just finished making a birthday card for niece. This was stamped with a clear stamp from Inkadinkado Fairy. It was colored in with glitter pens. The Happy Birthday was heat embossed. It' a simple card and I really like the way it came out, hope you do to. Please feel free to leave a comment.

Two New Cards

Hello Everyone:

Today is New Years Eve day.  And so since Christmas is now over and 52 sketeches 52 weeks is almost done with. I will concentrate on making all sorts of occassion cards. And updating all of my  grandchildrens scrapbooks.  So from this point on I will be showcasing these things on a more regular basis.   So my first card is an anniversary card I made for my BIL. It's a paper piecing , I used the Cricut Expression to make the love birds which I then colored in with  glitter color pens. The yellow insert was embossed with  the cuttlebug "sports and dots embossing folder. And the Happy Anniversary was heat embossed and all pieced together on stampin up white card stock. I hope you like

Excited to see Santa

Hi there, sometimes a picture inspires a layout.  In the layout I am going to share with you now, the pic that inspired this is the excited look on my grandsons face. I took one look at the picture and knew that a layout was in order.  This particular layout is a simple one, because the idea was just to capture the look on his face.
I make a scrapbook for each of my grandchildren, each book captures special pictured layouts and special occassions in their lives. So this layout is just the first of a few of his 2009 Christmas layouts that will be included in his book.
This layout was made with Christmas paper which I found on sale, (don't remember from where) The beige cardstock is from stampin up. The christmas santa stickers were a dollar pack at ACMoore.  And the title was cut @ 2" using Lyrical Letters cartridge.

Thanks for looking. Please feel free to leave a comment and give me your thoughts and ideas for other projects.

Hey just another little sample of what I've learned

Being a relative newbie, I am on alot of the sites out there looking and trying to learn all new and interesting techniques. Now the one I am going to show you is not totally an original idea.  It's what we call scraplifting. Unfortunately, I can't remember who I scraplifted the idea from. And I am so sorry that I can't give credit where credit is due for this one. But I can say I had a lot of fun making this card.  I used my expression to make the cuts. Plain card stock from ACMoore, white and green plastic glitter, gel pens and red stickles. For adhesive I used my zyron and my 2 way glue pen, also used a piece of white and blue ribbon which I also purchased at ACMoore. (ya think I like that store lol) Ok so anyway here it is.

So please tell me what you think. Thanks for stopping by.  Have a Blessed Day

Sketch 45-- 52sketches 52weeks

Good Morning:
I've completed my interpretation of sketch 45 for this weeks challenge. I really loved doing this one because the pictures I chose brought back very fond memories. The two pics chosen were from a cruise my hubby and I took a few years ago. We had a great time as always and its the time where we are devoted to just one another. So, anyway here is the sketche and my interpretation:

I hope you guys like, please leave me a comment.  And don't forget to sign my guestbook.  Thanks for stopping by. Have a Blessed Day.

Veterans Days

First I want to thank those who have served in our military, a Happy Veteran's Day.. Our fallen are gone but not forgotten (nicely put by my son Victor Jr.) Would also like to thank those who are currently serving our Country.  '
For me it was a day off.  One that I took advantage of in my quest of cardmaking and scrapbooking. With the holidays coming I have many things that I need to accomplish.  Sending Christmas cards is a tradition and one that I enjoy doing year after year.  This year though will be the first time I will send out hand made cards. So, I have been practicing trying to make some nice ones. I beleive today I made two very simple cards, but in my opinion nice ones.

I used regular ACMoore c/s, the lavendar/white card was stampled using stamps from My Sentiments Exactly and then I used stickles for some bling in lavendar as well.
The red/wht card was embossed with snowflakes from Crafts Too and then also colored in with stickles. TFL

Vacation page layout

Well Happy Sunday to one and all. Today is Sunday and my hubby is away on a short business trip. So I had a little trouble sleeping, I hate sleeping without him. So anyway, I got up extra early, 5:30 am on a Sunday, can you believe that? That sucks, big time. But on the other hand it gave me a chance to work on a layout. I am in the process of making my son and his wife a scrapbook about the vacation we all took together this summer. And I wanted to make a page with all the pictures printed in circles. And so I printed them in the form of circles. The first one I cut came out all bumpy not a very nice circle. Then I remembered having seen a video on using the center point option on the cricut. Thank you so very much Pink Stamper you saved me, by teaching me how to use the centerpoint option. So I finished the page, it's simple but it has perfectly cut circle pics lol. So here it is

I hope you like, if you do please leave me a comment. Have a Blessed Day.

Sketch #44

Hello Everyone, How's your Saturday coming along. Mine has been running around a little this morning with my hubby helping his daughter get her car repaired. Someone slashed all four of her tires night before last. It's disgusting how people just don't know how to respect other peoples property. Anyway, havin got that done, it was that time again. I finished my interpretation of sketch #44. I don't know, I think it could use something more, but for the life of me I just can't seem to think of what. But this is the original sketch
and my interpretation.
Thanks for stopping by and taking a look. Hope everyone has a wonderfully Blessed Day, and a great weekend.

Hi, it's Tuesday, Election day. And thankfully I was off today. So I decided to do a little bit of scrapping. I made a few Christmas cards today, and I made one that I think came out kinda cute. It was made with Joys of the Seasons cartridge, some gel pens and stickles. I hope you like it.
Here's another one I made.

I'm having alot of fun with this. This one was made with regular cardstock and ribbon from ACMoore and the stamp was from MySentiments colored in with gel pens. Thanks for looking.

Little Man as Buzz Light Year

Hello again, well as I said earlier I might make another layout featuring my little handsome grandson. And so I just finished it. The layout is also based on the 52sketches52 weeks layout. So here is my interpretation of it once again. It was kept simple.
He loves watching Buzz light year, and he runs around the house repeating the words "To infinity and Beyond" So only fitting for him to be Buzz for Halloween 2009.
Thanks for looking, and once again comments are welcome.
Have a Blessed Day.

Happy Halloween

Good Morning and a very Happy Halloween to one and all.

Well today is gonna be a scrapping day for me between cleaning and resting. Hubby is working all day. So yesterday I received a few pics of my beautiful granddaughter in full costume. And she looked so adorable. Her mom does a fantastic job with Halloween with all her different costumes. And this year was no different. So guess what pic I used for this weeks 52sketch 52week challenge. You guessed it! Lol.So here is the sketch that we were working from:

And this is my interpretation:

I hope you like it. I really like the way it came out
Supplies used: Regular Blue ACMoore Cardstock. ACMoore ribbon. Circle cut with the Expression at 8" using George Basic shapes cartridge, Scallop was cut at 7" using the Accent Essential Cartridge, the Title was cut using Don Juan at 1 1/2". Please feel free to leave a comment, would love to hear what you think.

Later on today, I plan on making a sketch of my grandson's Halloween costume. So you might hear from me again today if I get it done.

Have a Blessed day and thanks for stopping by.

Happy Tuesday Everyone, although here in New Jersey it has been an ugly rainy day all day, I find myself in pretty good spirits.

Last night, Iwas sitting on the couch with my DH watching TV, and promptly got bored. So I thought I would come to the craft room and try and make a birthday card for BIL whose birthday is next month. So making cards doesn't come easy to me, making masculine cards is even harder. But I think this one came out ok. Please let me know what you think.

The supplies used are basic card stock, and basic pattern paper which actually I found in an Odd Lot store. The two stamps are from My sentiments exactly and the saying was computer generated.
Thanks for looking, and have a Blessesd Day.
