Congratulaions Practice Card

I saw this card on Brandy's video and thought it was so cute.  So I had to try it. So as the heading says its just a practice card. But the possibilities are tempting to try.  This is a simple bird window flying card since I dont think there is a name for this. So just a warning you may be seeing a few variations. I did not do any outer decorations or anything; But wanted to put it out there cause I think its so freakin cute.

Get well card

My co-worker is in the hospital after having been hit by a car.  I made this card to send to her hoping it will help her feel just a tad better. The butterflies are popped up with pop strips and although hard to tell in the picture the card has a lot of glitter and looks so very pretty.  I'm hoping that it will at least bring a smile.

Let It snow

Here are two scrapbook pages that I made of my grandsons playing in the snow. It's a rare for them as the snow never really sticks where they live. TFL

Butterfly wishes

Here is another card I  made this morning.  This card is on orange base with white first layer and a black butterly embossed center layer. The bottom has designer paper with orange organza ribbon and two strips one each of black and orange 1/8 inch ribbon. I've stamped colored and embossed four butterflies. Two sold butterflies sit flat on the black top layer and two colored butterflies sit slightly above them with pop dots. The sentiment is embossed in orange and  on a white scalloped oval popped up on the black oval.
A fun quick and very elegant looking card. TFL

birthday card

I made this beautiful birthday card for someone special.  I cant say who cause she may see it.
This was made with a few different techniques. I've been working a lot on just digital cards and scarp book pages and wanted to go back to hands on. And this is what i came up with.
The card if you are interested in 5x7 has a white base, blue front layer embossed with Swiss dots. there is a white ribbon threaded with a blue ribbon that crosses the center of the blue layer. Then the printed center was cut with spellbinders decorative labels eight. the center tag was cut using spellbinders positively me framed sentiments. Behind  the sentiment there are two oval layers each also cut with the spellbinders. That sentiment was stamped with color box ink pads in blue. and embossed. the bow was also made with the same ribbon technique as the center ribbon. there were blue gems in the center of the flowers and the bow as well as in the three open corners. I love the way it came out.  Hope the recipient likes it too TFL
