A quick note

Just a quick note to those who are following my blog.  I haven't given up, just cause I haven't posted anything lately.  I'm working on a few projects and cards for the upcoming events, Valentine's Day, a special card I am trying to design on my gypsy for the love of my life.  Taking a little more time to learn how to use it, but I will get it done.  Also working on cards for my three beautiful grandchildren as well.  And in between that getting some birthday cards made and mailed out. So don't give up on me yet, there will be new projects posted soon.
Thanks for stopping by.

Kiethann's Card Kit

Well yesterday my new kit arrived.  And since I was spending the evening by myself, hubby was working.  I decided to sit right down and try and come up with something. These are made very quickly and simply with only the supplies that were sent. So here  they are:

Fairies

I was trying to put away all of my new stamps and ran across a group of fairy ones.  And I thought wow, what cute cards  these would make.  So on the spur of the moment I decided to put one together.  I colored this one in using glitter pens.  I love my glitter pens and my chalk colors. Anyway here it is, hope you like it. TFL

Happy Easter

Well tonight or should I say today was not as cold as it has been, it was a balmy 40 degrees.  So when I got home I decided to  try something just a little bit different.  Easter is still a bit a ways away but I felt like flowers and butterfiles and springtime.  So I sat down and tried to design my first Easter card, well my first for this year anyway. Last year I made two cards one for each of my youngest grandchildren and if you have taken the time to see the slide show above you may have seen them.  So you might be able to tell that this one is a bit different. I hope you like it.
Supplies used:
Regular card stock-Taupe and Cream, yellow, pink, green, dark pink, printed glitter stock
Cricut E
Cartridges: Butterfly from Lyrical lettere cut @ 2 1/2"
Flowers: Plantin Schoolbook  4 dif colors all cut @ approx 1/2"
Flower Basket and shadow: Doodlecharms cut @ 4"
Oh there were two small green brads, and the Happy Easter was a clear stamp from Sentiments Exactly.

Kiethann's Card Kit club

Hello again,
I belong to a card kit club hosted by my friend Kiethann from one of the forums I belong to.  We have had a few kits already made and we are on I believe it's our 8th kit. So I decided that I would also show off my interpretations of  them here as well as in our forum. I hope you like them

Oh So the holidays are over.

So the Holiday Season has come to an end.  I still have some Christmas and New Year layouts to make, but I thought I would take a break and make a card for my niece who just moved into her new apartment.  As I have said in the past card making is still new to me but I enjoy it thoroughly. So anyway here is the card. Hope you like it. Please feel free to leave a comment and sign my guestbook.  Have a Blessed Day
