Cheerleading Regionals Third Place Way to go!

My beautiful granddaughter and her teammates The Indians came in third place at the Regionals.  They worked so hard and it showed. It was their first regionals so third place is first place for them. Way to go girls. This is a quick layout i put together.  Congratulations Tori and the Indians

Water Park Fun

This layout was inspired by my youngest grandson having a blast Coolidge Park earlier this month. This layout was made using Craft Artist 2.  Love this program for digital anything lol.. Alex was having so much fun it's written all over his face.

11 months..Time flies

Eleven months ago I was blessed with my 5th grandchild, beautiful Skye Renee Alexandria.  So how better to celebrate then to make a layout marking the day.  I love all of my  grandchildren and love making layouts of all of them.  I hope one day in the future they will treasure these as much as I do. E

I'm Up digital layout

This layout was made digitally.  It's a layout of my granddaughers first step to walking.  You can tell by the look on her face the pure excitement of having accomplished the tast of standing for the first time.  That smile is priceless. Thanks for looking.

Anniversary Card

I just finished this cute, quick and easy anniversary card.  You can't see in the pic but the birds feathers and feet are outlined in pink glitter glue.  Looks so cute. It didnt scan the color corrected need to adjust my scanner and printer.  But you get the idea.

This is the time for religious ceremonies.

I just completed this really cute communion card for niece, who will be making her first communion next month.
This card is made in pink and white with a little bit of glitter outlining not only the letters but the cross. The cross sits on a white satin ribbon. Its a very simple but pretty card.  And I'm hoping she really likes it.

Birthday Card

Here is a Birthday Card I just made.  Wont say who its for cause they read my blog.
It's a simple card. Gold cardstock 4.24 x 5.5.  printed designer paper on the front. Then  a small piece of brown tissue paper on one side with a glass of foaming beer (graphic from lettering delights) I added the foam on top. On the other side is a sentiment put on stampin up and ek success cut stamps.
Simple but I like it.

Masterpiece

My beautiful little grandson can now use the crayons without trying to eat them.  So he was given the opportunity show his talents. And of course his mom had to capture it for posterity hahaha and I had to put it in his album. Ir's a simple layout, but it says it all.

So here are two layouts I finished this week.  Have to get back to basics lol... The first layout is one of my granddaughter showing off  her teeth. It's a tad difficult to see, the letters are in white cardstock cut out i think it was an inch. They are outlined in green glitter pen. And it says "I'm getting my teeth".  the rest you can see, I hope lol.
The second layout is done in hybrid style, which means its half digital and half embellishments but in this case it printed pics. I know that doesn't sound right but at the moment the proper terminology escapes me. Old age I guess. Anyway hope you like.  Thanks for looking

Decorating

Ok everything is now in its place in the new craft room.  So now I can start a little decorating.  So here is my first addition to the space.  This space is right in front of my work space. Hence putting the word create right in front of me. Well almost in front of me lol... More to follow

Happy Saturday ...New Birthday Day Card

Hi All:
Well today I am working on a birthday card for my mom. Her birthday is next week and she will be turning 81 years young.  I am going to post the card here, but please shhhhhhhhh don't tell her I gave away her age. lol.

I thought I would first show you the pieces of the card before I put it together.  In this pic you will see the pink base card cut at 10x7 folded in half to make a 5x7 card.  The the white layer is cut at 4.75 x6.75. to layer slightly smaller then the base card.  Then embossed with swiss dots folder from cuttlebug. Then I cut the card out with my make the cut program and my cougar.  I designed the card with lattice effect and then welded a smaller heart to the center. The white layer, heart along with the words Happy Birthday and the 81 were sprayed with Perfect Pearls mist.  Which unfortunately via the pic you cant see the shimmery shine it gave everything.
Ok, now for the actual card.

As you can see I added two ribbon bows to the top left of the card cause I thought something was still missing. The bows also have white pearl on top.  I think it came out very nice and I'm hoping she will like it too.

Speedy Recovery

 Hello All:

I made this card in hopes of bringing a smile to my cuz who is recuperating from hip surgery.   I am a firm believer that a smile, laughter or anything happy helps in a persons recuperation.
So I made this butterfly shaped card for her. For some reason the colors aren't showing up as bright and as pretty as it looks in person.
It's a white based card with a yellow 1st layer and  a lime green second layer and the multi colored butterfly on top. With the words speedy recovery in yellow glitter glue with a lime green shadow to the words. The rim of the white base card is also outlined in cystal glitter glue. Hope she likes it.
