Birthdays, Birthdays
I needed to make a birthday card for my soon to be 13 year old granddaughter. Wow a teeneager, I can't believe it. Of course she's going to be 13 but she swears she is 18 lol. They wanna grow up so fast. So anyway last night I put together this card. The supplies were: Stampin Up color pink card stock(actual color name I dont remember)The white top layer was embossed with cuttlebug Sports and Dots embossing folder. The cherries were cut with Lyrical letters cricut cartridge The large cherrie cut at approx 3" and the smaller cherrie cut at approx 1 3/4 ". The ribbon which is also designed with cherries was bought at ACMoore for $1.00. The sentiment stamped "Sweet Wishes" comes from The Pink Stamper "Simply Sweet Occassions" polymer stamp set.
Thanks for looking, comments welcomed

Feeling Blue
It's been a very rainy weekend. Not being able to do much, I was feeling kind of blue. But feeling blue is not such a bad thing. Especially since blue happens to be my favorite color. So having some extra time on my hands, I decided to use up some of my extra scraps and it so happens the first color I found was blue. So what do you think I did. I made three quick cards
This first one is an any occassion card. Nothing stamped on it, so whatever comes up its perfect. The second card is for a birthday very simple and quick. The last one is you're my everything card. And the three cards were all made with scraps which have been leftover from other projects. This is my version of feeling blue.

Quick B'day Card
This is a quick birthday card I made using the cup cake from doodlecharms cartridge. And my cuttlebugs sports & Dots embossing folder. The cardstock was from ACMoore cardstock and the ribbon was from the $1 bin there as well. I used several diff colors of stickles for bling. The stamped sentiment comes from the Pink stampers everyday occassion stamp set.
Thre card came together very quickly and now I have an extra birthday card available for when the occassion arises. LOL

Simple Cards
Good Morning,
Havent posted since Valentine's day, or there abouts. I have been working on a Baby Scrapbook, which I am giving as a gift at a baby shower next week. That has taken alot of my time. But this weekend I had to make two quick cards, one for a birthday and one for a retirment party we were going to. This is the retirement card, I used stamping up card stock, in green and peach. Grossgrain green ribbon also from stamping up. There are two twinchies as I have heard them called in the same two color combo. One has a stamp of a beach umbrella and the other is stamped with a beach chair. The words time to relax are also stamped and I honestly cant remember what stamp set they came from. The bottom of the card is stamped with the word Congratulations. Hope you like it.
I made for my mom, whose 78th birthday is this weekend. Again the card is simple and is made with stamping up card stock in pink and brown,(I love that color combo), the flowers, gee dont really remember where i got those. The top layer is dry embossed but at the moment the name of the plate also escapes me. I love the simplicity but elegance of this card. I hope you like it to. Thanks for looking. Please feel free to leave a comment, it would be greatly appreciated.
