Hello All:
I made this card in hopes of bringing a smile to my cuz who is recuperating from hip surgery. I am a firm believer that a smile, laughter or anything happy helps in a persons recuperation.
So I made this butterfly shaped card for her. For some reason the colors aren't showing up as bright and as pretty as it looks in person.
It's a white based card with a yellow 1st layer and a lime green second layer and the multi colored butterfly on top. With the words speedy recovery in yellow glitter glue with a lime green shadow to the words. The rim of the white base card is also outlined in cystal glitter glue. Hope she likes it. Thanks for looking.

Snow Layout
Hello All:
This past holiday season, my son and his family came for a visit. We have not spent a Christmas with them for quite awhile. So it was really nice having them here. The boys are not use to snow, as it hardly ever snows by them and when it does it's pretty much a passing flurry.
So while they were here we had some snow and my grandson Anthony had the privilege of being able to go to our back yard and have some in the snow. So, I made this layout so he will be able to remember it in the future. He loves his memory albums that I make him, so its always so much fun creating his pages.

Valentines Day card
Good afternoon All,
Well I'm back, working from my newly constructed and almost fully decorated craft room. Here is my first card made in the new room.
It's a cute card mostly made with scraps. The base of the card is white card stock 5 x 10 folded in half to make a 5 x 5 square card. The first layer is a red layering weight paper cut at 4 x 7.8" squared. The third layer is red printed layering card stock cut an 1/8" less. The fourth layer once again is the red layering card stock cut at 4" square. The center white card stock is cut at 3 3/4" square.
I stamped the center with a dollar stamp from somewhere (cant remember where i purchased it) and stamped and embossed the "love U". I faux stitched around the card stock. Placed a the beading and pearl strip from stock I had. Used some prima flowers, and there you go my first Valentines day card. Hope you like.

Partial scraproom
This is how my new scraproom (playroom) as my friends like to call it is shaping up. My husband (Dom, my son Vic and my always helpful brother-in-law Vinnie) put together the storage under the counter as well as the counter top. My room is well on its way to being finished. My room wont be large but it will be perfect. It's an L-shaped room so the side pictured is the crafting area and the other side is the sitting area.

Happy New Year
Just wanted to take this opportunity to wish all my friends, family and anyone visiting my blog a very HAPPY NEW YEAR!
May you all have a safe, blessed, healthy, happy New Year. I had hoped to have something to you show you today, but was caught up spending time with my visiting kids and grandchildren. So please forgive me it is coming.
Once again Happy New Year.
