Snowy Days

Well winter roared its ugly head yesterday with cold, cold weather and snowy conditions.  So what do you do on days its best to stay inside.
Well I played in the craftroom.  Made some birthday cards that I cant display because the receivers are viewers of this blog.  Lol.  And then I  played with new techniques. The first one called "Embossed resist" or Reverse Embossing". This technique is really cool so although not perfect I will show you what it looks like. The second technique is not really a technique but a product that is really cool.  It's called fun flocking.
So here they are hope you like them.  Comments and critiques are welcome.

Fun Flocking....

Happy New Year Everyone and back to work lol

Hello All,
Hope all is going well for everyone in this New Year.  I know mine has started off with a bang.  I was told a bit earlier that I was going to be blessed with another grandchild this summer.  I couldn't be haippier or more excited. Children are the light of our world.  The more the merrier.  I know times are difficult. But my husband and I are here to help in anyway we can. Our children are our happiness.  The more the merrier lol.
Sorry, off base here, but I am excited that they have decided to spread the news, and now so have I.  But now on to my post.  The holidays are now over.  So I've sat down and made three cards for th next card giving occasion..... Yes Valentine's day.  Not sure if any or all of the three cards I am about to you show you will make the next card giveaway, which will be hosted on my facebook page. But decided to show them off here anyway.
The cards are simple but pretty. So here they are:  Hope you like, any comments are welcome; Thanks for looking

New Addition

Hey Everyone:
This post is a little late, but better late then never lol.

Well Thanksgiving has passed.  But this thanksgiving we were given an additional member to our family that we need to be thankful for. My husband and I are very lucky, we have four children between us, and now four grandchildren.
So for thanksgiving we went to Tennessee to meet the newest member.  Our precious new angel named Alexander.

We also got a chance to visit with Alexander's older brother, who is all of 5 years old. (he is know to me as my little man).  Anthony  was very excited about his little brother.  He kept saying my brother is soooo cute.  lol  .

And it was great spending time with the two of them.

While we were in Tennessee we also got a chance to see our oldest granddaughter who lives about three hours away.  Our Andrea is now almost 15 years old, and it was such a joy to see and spend time with her.

We also have another granddaughter who lives here with us. Not literally with us, just not 800 miles away lol.  And we will get to spend Christmas with my beautiful blue eyed Tori.

So besides our four kids, we have our four grandkids and our extended family to be thankful for.
God bless us all and all of you.  Thanks for stopping by.

Happy Halloween

Ghoul Morning,

Wanted to share what I made for the little goblins attending the halloween party tonight.   I got the inspiration from Jin (http://underacherrytree.blogspot.com/).  She is great and she she shares her files and knowledge freely.  If your interested go take a look at her blog.
Anyway, here is what I made.  Not sure if the pictures will do them justice.  But they were fun to make and easy to assemble. Hope the goblins enjoy them tonight. Happy Halloween Everyone.
